Homeschooling? Need literature books? There are literally thousands of free books available via the Kindle!
Don't have a Kindle or aren't ready to spend the money on one? (I
held out for several years before finally buying a Kindle Fire. I bought one last Christmas and I LOVE it!)
Don't worry, you can still take advantage of the free books! As long as
you have a smartphone, tablet or computer, you can download a FREE Kindle Reading App and read books for free!
Kindles range in price from $79 for a basic, black & white edition to the $199 color tablet with a touchscreen and internet access.
Classics
Sherlock Holmes, Emma, Swiss Family Robinson, Beowulf, Gulliver's Travels, Moby Dick, Secret Garden, Oliver Twist, Tale of Two Cities, White Fang and thousands of others in the public domain & all free!
How to Browse for Free Books by Category
Go to the Kindle Store. On the right are the Top 100 Free books. On the left menu, select the category you want to browse. Each category breaks down into subcategories. The right Top 100 Free will update based on the categories you choose.
